It was the festival weekend for the town, so very busy and the stage and entertainment were right outside the front of the hotel. The staff did call to inform me of this well in advance so I was aware. When I arrived, the room I was originally booked into was right next to the stage so the manager advised that there was another room available at the back of the hotel which was only a single. This suited me fine as on my own so took this and have to say it was very comfortable, warm, and although the whole town was partying outside, I didn't hear a thing. Very much appreciate the effort the staff went to to make sure that needs were met and thought ahead before I arrived to resolve what could have been a problem before it was even a consideration.

Was in a great location,plenty of shops, takeaways if we needed anything & we were well situated for berwick, St abbs, eyemouth, the room was a good size,we had all we needed & our room looked out across the square, the bed was very comfortable,it was clean,it's also pet friendly with no extra charges, the staff were very polite & considerate to our needs & the breakfast was exceptional, I'm gluten free & they even catered for my needs on short notice,the price of our stay was great too.

Fantastic hotel,right in the busy little market square,brilliant staff,quite small bed but extra comfortable,because they have a bar a little noisy at chucking out time,but only for 10 mins or so,i certainly wouldnt knock a point off for that as i knew what i was booking,breakfast was great,i was so full i had to leave a bit,i will have no hesitation booking here next time i'm in Duns,really worth booking here just to visit Duns,highly recommended by me💙

We were travelling with a dog and the room was a great size for us. Very clean and the bed was so comfortable. Due to having a dog, we couldn't eat in the restaurant so had to eat in the bar which was absolutely fine for us. The food was lovely. Everyone we met who worked there was so friendly which made the stay more enjoyable. Would definitely stay again.
